The only time you should not go to the doctors is if your only role in an accident was as a witness, and even then, it depends on how unfortunate the accident was. When Should You See A Doctor After Your Accident?
Honestly, seeing a doctor should be one of your main priorities after getting into a car accident. The main reason being is that your health is essential, and you do not want to get any life-changing injuries due to a lack of diagnosis. The second reason being that insurance companies typically require you to see a medical professional after an accident so that you could receive your benefits.
A typical period between the accident and seeing your doctor should be no more than 3-4 days, but you are required to go within 14 days of the car accident. Florida Statute § 627.736 states that if you do not go within 14 days of your accident, then insurance companies may decide to deny your accident claim.
