Coronavirus Public Service Announcement
We understand how alarming the COVID-19, a.k.a. Coronavirus has been over these past weeks, and we want to wish everyone safety and security. DO NOT forget to wash your hands every chance you get and to try and keep your distance from others. We are unaware at the moment of who does and does not have it, but what we do know is that it can only be transferred physically. This means either being sneezed/coughed on or by touching your face after touching an infected surface. If you manage to get any hand sanitizer, then you are lucky, but if not, then you can always make some yourself with rubbing alcohol and aloe vera. We highly suggest you try and stay at home so that you minimize your risk of being exposed to the Coronavirus. With that being said, many people should ask themselves if their home is a safe place to stay in? Aside from the COVID-19 disease, some toxins could be creeping in behind you. One of the biggest of these toxins concerns mold in your home!
An Unforeseen Dilemma
What if we told you that there are already toxins inside your home? One of the worst factors of mold is that it could grow in between the walls of your home, and there is almost no way for the average person to know. It can grow within 24 hours, but humidity also contributes to the growth of mold. Which makes mold an even more significant threat to us because Forbes stated that Florida is the second-ranking state in terms of humidity, only bested by Alaska. That means that mold is one of our most significant problems, mainly because we have no way of seeing it and the effects that it has.
The Effects Of Mold
We could say that mold is extremely hazardous, it can create potential health risks, and that your pets are not immune to the effects of mold. However, we would like to break down a couple of impacts thoroughly. According to the Mold Expert, “Mold could cause рrоblеmѕ lіkе соld, ѕіnuѕ congestion, ѕоrе thrоаt, соughіng, skin іrrіtаtіоnѕ аnd watery eyes.” If you saw anyone in the supermarket or the street with these types of symptoms, what would you think they had? The Coronavirus, simply because of the coughing, sinus congestion, and because they would look sick. That is perfectly reasonable why you would assume that, but we are here to help you stay informed on what the differences are.
